Every year has its challenges. Too often, all we focus on are those challenges or disappointments. However, the year end is a great time to “count your blessings” by recognizing your personal and professional accomplishments.

“Count Your Blessings” is a phrase we all grew up hearing when complaining about something. It’s a phrase meant to inspires us to refocus. By closing out a year on a positive note, you can begin a New Year energized—with new beginnings.  Over the course of a year, make a list of all the positive things that happened, including new friends, associate, and clients you met along the way.

Perhaps start a new tradition by designating a mealtime with family to share your blessings. Instead of a staff meeting, have a sharing of accomplishments meeting. Keep it positive and enlightening.

Just some thoughts for you to ponder and share.
