Good-NewsImagine a media world that gave us the good news first, a media that made good news the priority and minimized the bad news. Good deeds happen in every society all over the world, but we rarely read or hear about them. What are people doing to help make their societies and workplaces a better, safer, and kinder place? This should be front-page news!

If good news was receiving the lion’s share of the print page or leading off our TV news programs, it would surely inspire more of the same behavior. Wouldn’t it? Certainly, we need reporting on all kinds of news; however, I think it needs to be re-prioritized. What do you think?  In searching for some good news around the world, I found this website: goodnewsnetwork.org.  Then I found this quote:

“When you look at the world in a narrow way, how narrow it seems! When you look at it in a mean way, how mean it is! When you look at it selfishly, how selfish it is! But when you look at it in a broad, generous, friendly spirit, what wonderful people you find in it.”  —Horace Rutledge, (quote found  in Forbes)

Let’s help others start their day feeling better about our world by posting your favorite quote on your media.
