Are influencers making disrespecting the norm? Candidates for an office are influencers! Unfortunately, too many have been using slander against their opponent to gain their competitive edge. However, it is also teaching disrespect and making it okay. Certainly, we need to know if there is something shady about an individual running for office, but can it be handled more diplomatically and carefully thus allowing more time to be spent on how to improve the economy, encourage bipartisanship, and make strides toward world peace? Of course, it can! It just needs the right approach and role models!
Disrespect and disregard for others have become all too common in all circles; both professional and personal! Perhaps because disrespectful behavior is getting too much attention from the media and becoming an entertainment contributor.
We need influencers that put more emphasis on respect instead of disrespect. Positive influencers set a better example by demonstrating how to diplomatically control a situation and not destroy it.
